Wearables with Purpose
WearME is the umbrella organization for wearable-device engineering project teams at the University of Michigan, with the mission of building safe/effective wearable technology that improves the quality of life for end-users at no cost, while providing students with real engineering experience.
Project TremEndous is WearME’s first project team and is creating a sleeve that uses electrical stimulation to relieve tremors.
Haptic Health is designing rings and bracelets that use location patterned vibrations to discreetly communicate live bio-data.
